Window & Locker Seals

Here is why treating your window seals matters:

• Prevents cracking and UV damage: Rubber naturally dries out and perishes over time, especially when exposed to direct sunlight and fluctuating temperatures. Silicone spray acts as a conditioner, restoring moisture to the rubber and keeping it supple so it doesn't crack or shrink.

• Stops sticking and tearing: In hot weather, acrylic caravan windows can easily stick to the rubber seals. If you force the window open, it can rip the weatherstrip right off the frame. Silicone creates a micro-thin, non-stick barrier that ensures windows open smoothly.

• Maintains water resistance: For a seal to efficiently keep rain out, it needs to remain plump and flexible so it can compress tightly against the closed window. Hard, dried-out seals leave microscopic gaps where water can seep into the cabin walls.

• Prevents winter freezing: Silicone displaces moisture. Applying it before temperatures drop prevents water from settling on the seals and freezing the windows shut.
